We’re introducing a major upgrade to how authors create interactive content with H5P! With this upcoming release, all h5p.com users, with or without Premium - will see improvements when working with Pages (formerly known as Column) and Interactive Books.

What’s New

Our goal was to ensure that every H5P user can continue to build high-quality, structured content and greater layout options than ever before. In the upcoming release, you can now structure your content more effectively with multiple columns and rows inside Pages and Interactive Books.

• Updated editing interface: While non-premium users won’t have access to the full visual Layout Builder, we’ve improved the form-based editor to better support flexible layouts using the new Row content type.
• No disruption to existing content: For non-premium users, all your current H5P content will continue to work exactly as expected - no changes required.

Unlock More Power with Layout Builder (Premium only)

For users on H5P.com having a Premium subscription, we’re introducing the new Layout Builder - a visual, drag-and-drop editing experience for Pages and Interactive Books:

• Visual Layout Editing: Instantly see and adjust your layout with rows and columns.
• Drag-and-Drop Simplicity: Build structured content faster without switching between form fields.
• Responsive by Design: Layouts automatically adapt for mobile, tablet, and desktop users.

In the previous release, we served static assets using another domain name. A few customers reported that their firewall blocked requests to this domain, which resulted in us reverting this change temporarily. In this release, we will bring back this improvement.
