To set up H5P.com as a tool in Agilix Buzz using LTI 1.3 need to:
Part 1: Adding Agilix Buzz as a tool consumer in H5P.com
Step 1: Log in to H5P.com as an admin user with your e-mail address as user name and your password.
Step 2: Go to Manage Organization.
Step 3: Go to "Connect LMS"
Step 4: Under "Select your LMS" choose "Other". Fill in "Agilix Buzz" or something similar in the Connection name field, Choose LTI v1.3, and click "Save".
Make note of the following information provided on H5P.com, these are the connection details and look something like this:
- Login URL: https://yourorganization.h5p.com/lti/login
- Redirect URL: https://yourorganization.h5p.com/lti/launch
- Public key: https://yourorganization.h5p.com/lti/jwks/numbers.json
You’ll be needing these in the next section.
Important: Please, do not copy and paste the information above, it won't work, as it has been edited and are not the actual details you must use. You need to copy the valid values from inside H5P.com as they are personally and randomly generated. It looks something like the image below:
Part 2: Create the LTI tool inside your Agilix Buzz site
Perform the following steps:
Step 1: Log in to Agilix Buzz as an administrator.
Step 2: As an admin inside the Domain site, click on Domain Settings
Step 3: Once inside the "Domain Settings", scroll down until you see a section called LTI 1.3 tools.
Step 4: Click on the Add button.
Part 3: Fill in the details of your Agilix Buzz with the information from H5P and vice versa
Step 1: Once inside the LTI 1.3 Tool settings, fill up the LTI fields with the following details
- Title: Choose the title of your tool, for example, it can be H5P LTI 1.3.
- Description: How you wish to describe your tool
- Tool hostname: The URL of your organization (yourorganization.h5p.com)
- OpenID connect login URL: Same as the Login URL from part one (https://yourorganization.h5p.com/lti/login)
- Tool key set URL: Same as the Public key from part one (https://yourorganization.h5p.com/lti/jwks/numbers.json)
- Tool redirect URL: Same as the Redirect URL from part one (https://yourorganization.h5p.com/lti/launch)
- User data sent at launch: Check all the boxes (Given name, Family name, Display name, and Email)
- LTI services: Check all the boxes (Assignment and grade, Names and role provisioning, Deep linking)
- Deep-linking redirect URL: Same as the Redirect URL from part one (https://yourorganization.h5p.com/lti/launch)
- Check the two boxes at the bottom that say Domain-wide (applies to descendent domains) and Enabled.
Step 2: Before saving the changes, copy and paste the information from Agilix Buzz into H5P.com, by going back to the H5P tab, and then to the "Connection settings" form.
- Client ID: called Client ID in Agilix Buzz
- Issuer: called Issuer in Agilix Buzz
- Login URL: called OpenID connect auth URL in Agilix Buzz
- Token URL: called OAuth2 access token URL in Agilix Buzz
- Key Set URL: called Platform key set URL in Agilix Buzz
- Click on Save
Step 3: After doing the connection settings, insert the Deployment ID by clicking on "New Deployment".
Step 4: On Agilix Buzz click on Done to save the changes
Part 4: Verify that it works
Step 1: On Agilix Buzz, go to the Courses.
Step 2: Once inside a Course, click on Editor
Step 3: Here you'll need to click on Add activity and choose the external tool you've just installed
Step 4: Inside the H5P window, click on select content and select the H5P you desire to insert.
Now you should be able to view the H5P!
