Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of https://h5p.com/, there are some known limitations as follows;
- Third-Party Contributions
Certain content may be created or hosted by third parties. As we don't control these, we can’t guarantee they fully meet accessibility standards like WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Where possible, we disable or discourage the use of known inaccessible third-party content types by default. We also encourage their authors to improve accessibility over time—while providing alternatives when needed.
- Authoring Tool Accessibility
While our tools for creating H5P content are designed with accessibility in mind, some components may not yet fully support keyboard navigation or screen reader usage.
We continue to iterate and improve the authoring experience to make it more accessible and intuitive for all users, including authors relying on assistive technologies.
